andypuck: You're right! I was just thinking about that right after I posted. Just like the rest of the apps on the Apple's app store, they still have to go through the same process and waiting period from the Apple team to 'approve' the apps worthyness to be on the app store. So, if the today's show I saw announced to head over to the website Millionairetv.com to download the app today, maybe it will be up within this week/next week possiblity? Interesting thought provoting comment andypuck!

Part of me also thinks that they give priority to top-grossing apps. For instance, a certain game - involving some pissed off animals of the avian variety - got an update approved and sent out on a set day (December 1, iirc) Now, Millionaire, I don't exactly know how well it grossed in the App Store, but I'm thinking it could have some implication on that... |

I've spoken with Capcom and from the sounds of it they have not even released the game to the Apple review process yet. Unless a game is denied, the App Store review process takes no longer than 2 weeks. On average, from what I hear from friends, it takes usually around week most times, unless they're super busy.
So if anything, blame Capcom for the holdup. You don't have to worry about checking the App Store every day either, they told me that, once they have a release date set, they would send a press release through all the major places press releases are sent through.

Someone clearly flubbed by attaching the commercial to episodes of the show so far ahead of the game's release. I wonder if Capcom experienced delays with the game or if the show production team just jumped the gun when it came to airing the ad.
