First of all, I moved this thread to "Millionaire General Discussion." The first post applied to the syndicated version (which is where the thread started) but got away from that so we moved it. Second of all, Matryoshka, if all you're here to do is cause trouble and try to start fights, just leave. If it was an honest mistake, we will look past it and move on. It was a honest mistake, and i already sent an apology message to @mcvolester.

Very sorry for bumping a dead thread but... How a bout a lifeline called "all In your hands" you use it and for that question only if wrong instead of going back to a milestone you leave with the money from the previous question What do you think?

So basically it's just a walk away option if you get it wrong? Kind of defeats the object of the risk factor of Millionaire, in my opinion.

How a bout a lifeline called "all In your hands" you use it and for that question only if wrong instead of going back to a milestone you leave with the money from the previous question What do you think? Now hold on, GSK. This is not nearly as bad as some of the other ideas we've heard so far. What he's proposing is a lifeline that gives you a free shot at the question you're on. Sure it eliminates the risk element for that question, but like any lifeline, you're only going to get to use it once, and if it were on the show today, it would likely get used fairly early in the game. And if you play well enough to have that lifeline on, say, the $250,000 or $500,000 question, it'll make for some exciting television because you're not going to get the inevitable walkaway you would normally get at that stage. It also provides the dilemma that good lifelines provide. What do you do if you're 80% sure you know the answer? Do you use the lifeline to play it safe, or try to save it? I actually like this idea. The only gripe I have about it is the same I have with lifelines like Switch the Question and Jump The Question. Originally the idea of a lifeline was to assist you in answering the question. Lifelines like STQ/JTQ are more there to assist you in getting out of answering questions. Worse ideas have made it to air before (see 50:50/Double Dip combo).

I'm shooting down the fact that right after his audition was declined per WP:SNOWBALL, he decides to restart a dead thread.
