millionaire1999 the joke answer D hasn't been on the show for a while since the shuffle format happened but I hope they do bring it back now that it's back to classic. I can't wait to see what joke answers they came up with if they do.

It's nice when it come back to roots, but answers the first five wrong, you go home with $1,000 is very crazy, especially for the first two question.

Yeah, the shuffle format's had its day. All we need now is a couple of chairs! If a bunch of chairs created quality entertainment, musical chairs would be a religion by now. Though I'd love to see one of their masses. Sure would be a lively affair... Anyway, let's not cleave too much to details. It hardly matters if the contestant is seated or not. There are more important things to consider at this point than nostalgia or iconicity. The game has to get exciting, or at least enjoyable, again.

What about phone a friend lifeline From the two pictures earlier in the tread, it looks like we are still using the Plus One (+1) Lifeline. One thing I have thought is how they are gonna keep the current music and make it intense, like will they change the pitch when they increase in difficulty?

From what a friend of mine told me that attended is that music cues stay the same from "Clock Classic" (aka when Meredith Viera hosted). But then again things can change between post-production and now. I will gladly report on this (as well as the studio layout, host screen) when I go to the tapings sometime next month. Side note: Am I the only one that enjoyed shuffle? millionaire1999 the joke answer D hasn't been on the show for a while since the shuffle format happened but I hope they do bring it back now that it's back to classic. I can't wait to see what joke answers they came up with if they do. There were a few questions that showed up during the shuffle seasons that had joke answers but no more than one. I'm willing to bet that the shuffle format had the computer randomly select ONE of these to be included. I'm not sure if that many popped up during Cedric and Terry's run but there were still a few.

Side note: Am I the only one that enjoyed shuffle? Sources say that the shuffle cues are used, not the clock ones. That would be a pretty impractical choice anyway. I have nothing against the shuffle format either. I think many take issue with it because some iconic elements were changed (hotseat, music) but the rules themselves weren't bad. I found the last couple of years of the UK version much more painful to watch. The host choices are what made the US show unbearable.

You mean some episodes which didnt appeared on tv or what No it was a common appearance in some of the episodes during Shuffle. But at most, it was only ONE question where you would hear the audience chuckle on the "D" response during the 10 questions of round one. It wasn't always included but it was often.

I was hoping they'd use the 2007 UK soundtrack, or the 1998-2010 tracks... but at the same time, we'll know how Classic Millionaire sounds with the new music.

So no gimmicks whatsoever? Just basic straight 14 Question "Millionaire"? Okay I guess this wouldn't be too bad.

I have a feeling that the Q1-5 Music will be the interview cue, Q6-14 music will be the music they are already using.
