I did not catch wind of this until I was notified the other week on my YouTube channel about the show returning to its roots. I'm also excited to see how this all turns out (stage / music / graphic) wise. I think what caught me by surprise the most that was the second safe haven has been restored and more importantly it was up'ed to $50K. Did ABC make huge profits last fiscal year lol! j/k but I'm definitely ready to see that show this season. Just have to make sure I DVR are it because it airs at 5:00 p.m. EST here where I live ( why I don't know ) and it takes me almost 20 minutes to get home from work.

I think everything was adjusted to account for inflation. (Don't think $100 would cut much of anything anymore...) Stage, music, graphics wise everything stays the same as it was during the Shuffle format with the same set in Connecticut being used. The host board is new more or less since there is no "seat" so to speak. So it uses the same board as Shuffle but modified. |

Well at least it means I get to develop another version of the game to go with the others I already have developed! Best of luck. Just know the host screen had MINOR tweaks to it if you compare it to the US Timed format and slightly modified from Shuffle. Other than that, best of luck. |

Hey, at least they show a picture of Chris. Took them long enough to manage that. They also haven't yet updated the Official Rules section.
And the trailer isn't very good either. Except for Chris' little remark in the beginning, it could just as well be an ad for the Shuffle format. You see none of the new elements. No mention of 50:50, they don't show the new money tree, nada. Just lots of screaming and smiling. It might as well be a commercial for a phone company. Or tampons.

Is it just me, or is the set even brighter than it was before? I get that they're trying to make the show fun, but it was okay the way it was before. They need to go back to emphasizing the tension and drama over the lightheartedness.

At least from the looks of it, I won't have much to do taking a copy of the shuffle game I've already built and making a few changes to reflect to new flow.

Honestly, the set does look a bit brighter in that promo.
Also, I feel like I've been watching the same WWTBAM promo for the last five years. Let's change it up a bit, guys!

Well I just found out from their site that working will not interfere with me being able to watch the show. Apparently "sleeping" is what will interfere. The show according to their site will broadcast a 5:00 AM where I live. Can't they at least change it so 7:00 AM? At least I would be able to watch the show while I'm getting ready for work.  |
