I have to admit that I bought my satellite kit in order to watch this without having to find a streaming link that's not working good, in most of cases.
I'm just wondering : Is Channel 4 HD available (via Satellite, obviousely) in another way than getting a monthly subscription to Sky?

Actually, Channel 4 HD should be available via Freeview HD, so I'm guessing that you're likely to get it.

Remember : I'm from France (maybe you didn't know that). Not that far from the coast but I'm not getting Freeview at all. That's why I had to buy a dish. If I had Freeview, be sure I wouldn't have been buying a dish. But now I'm not regretting it  |

I do know that you're French, but I was thinking that (remember, Freeview is like Sky/BT/Virgin, but no sub fee) if you can get C4HD via Freeview (sattelite service, duh) for free, then you might be able to get it from France.

Oh, so we're having a problem with terms I think. As far as I know, Freeview is the terrestrial coverage, with the little "rabbit ears" thing and so, and Free SAT is the free satellite coverage. That's why I misunderstood your "Freeview"! And after some searches, I found stuff about a "Freesat from Sky" thing, that gives some extra channels compared to Freesat "from BBC/ITV". But it seems like you need a Skybox to use that. All I have is a standard HD reciever (not even those branded "For Freesat"). It also uses a card worth £20 or £25... I could buy it, but only if I'm sure I could read it in some way with the stuff I already have. Or, at worst, buy a "CAM" (card reader for CI-slots), but maybe we're getting too technical there. |

I've just read on the Internet that The Money Drop is going to air on Spain! It'll presumably air weekdays at around 6-7 pm. (as I like to call it, the "Slot of Death", because, in that same slot, game shows like WWTBAM, 1vs100, 50:50 and Password have fallen into their demise. I don't want TMD to follow this path, though...)
