Just wanted to tell. Me and some my friends are preparing an IRC-game based on "Drop" format (without Davina of course). Some lucky contestants will get a chance to walk away with a nice Christmas *gift*, others can watch and play along. The game will be done through an IRC-chat, with graphics and sounds, so it’ll look really nice. If you’ve ever wanted to face The Drop – why not come along and play? We have no restrictions on age etc., no fees, you just need to be able to communicate in English.
We’ve done some other IRC-"versions" of Millionaire and some other games in our country. But now it’s our first international try. If you’re interested in playing or just watching the game, please pm me or chat to my friend (who will be hosting the game) on Skype: kser-dima, and we’ll be happy to write you in. The show is likely to be on 29th December at 19:00 GMT to allow players from USA, Europe to participate easily. Please, we need your help as so far we have very few contestants!
If you have any IRC-client (like mIRC, xChat etc) you can join us at server irc.forestnet.org, port 6667, channel #quizzies. You can come along to this channel at any time, and if someone is there you can ask them about the game and maybe even give you a little demo.

Or you could just come along to the beforementioned "Money Drop" game on 29 December and get all the sounds you need in good quality! Seriously, we need you guys. You will get an IRC client and a full "Drop" soundpack for the game, so it's worth it! By the way, this website is hosting the game, so it's not a case of competition  |
