Whoa! That is exciting! It will be interesting to see this version produced without the constraints of the deepest part of the pandemic.
I’d prefer a civilian version, but I’m happy to see the series return for another go.

After all, COVID have ended, so everyone can now have a chance to play. Also that "32k rule" screwed up the show a lot. Also, I'm waiting to see the show returned with audience! (Edit: Found out that the reason this account even existed was because I want to talk about the return of US Millionaire. Great to talk about it again this time!) |

I also think celebrities paired with civilians might be a fun format to add some stakes, but I doubt they’ll go down that path. Here’s hoping a successful run of celebrity episodes leads to something bigger down the road!

I can't believe how obstinate ABC has been with Millionaire. They just cannot get away from the celebrity obsession they have. It's like they learned nothing in the last twenty-three years.

I see this as a way for Disney to retain the U.S. rights instead of letting them revert to Sony. I'd be more interested if they order another season with just civilians, assuming this does well.

I'll be honest. I am so over D list celebrities. I'll record it but I'm not going to race home to see it and think about it all day. I am 100% over celebrities. I see it as important to watch to prop up ratings for it to stay on the air. |

I see your point, and I’m sick of the celebrities, but me, as a civilian, has dreamt of being in the hot seat for many, many years, and celebrity Millionaire is still better than no Millionaire. Civilian is, of course, the most ideal. |
